 The ABC morning news shoot about green weddings was a creative endeavor and inspiring to do more fun type PR: parties, soirees, youtube clips: green colorful action. The Saddle Peak Lodge, while not really an eco-friendly establishment, has a cute outside area for weddings. The inside is very lodgy, dark, one awaits to see antlers on the walls.
At 8:30 a.m. we started to get ready for the 10:00 a.m. shoot: Jennifer Charm from eco-lovely Carabella Bridal Beauty did all the model's make up including the eco limo driver lady! Deborah Lindquist aired her dresses, Michelle Rodriguez worried about her vegan chocolate cake toasting in the sun (it didn't, it was fabulous!) and I posted the invites samples from Invitesite, favors from All Shades of Green, flower arrangements from Rosalie Stern on the round outside tables. ABC’s Jane Monreal was to decide where the actual shoot would take place. She arrived matching the scene in a cute pink outfit and with this glorious invigorating energy, which made the interviews so easy. I felt pretty happy with myself: I had gotten this together so perfectly and everybody from the Green Wedding team performed like always: just amazing.

Green Weddings participated at the Los Feliz Fair with Helen from Invitesite’s stationary, Jen from Carabella Cosmetics & Skin Care in the Valley with her organic make up & bath & body line and the new girl in green town, Sarah from La Vie en Rose. Angelica from Angeliquevents handed out cute little tree seeds and wildflower favors, but couldn’t quite make up for Antonio V’s missing appearance, he was expected to show up to personally give away his “million trees”. Ed Begley though cycled with thousands down the LA river. Ah, passion…
